OK, this is my the most recent "piece of art". I made this hat for my 1.5 year old toddler. Design is mine.
I noticed for myself, that first usually I pick the color I want to see in my work. Then I visualize what I want to have in the end. So, when I try to find something similar in my knitting books and just follow the pattern instructions, I just can't find it.
So I just create my own design. I don't know how it can help me in my learning to knit, but I just can't myself....
PS. My husband liked the color combination, because it is the color of University of Minnesota (The U.). Since he is from MN and graduated this University, it makes this hat just right for him. I am glad for that. As for me golden and red are rich colors I like..
I was trying to put it on my son, but he didn't let me to leave it on more than a minute. I will wait for the proper season and then will try it again. But now, it is just folded...
This hat is WONDERFUL!! I think you should make several more and sell them! - in different colors of course! Maybe colors of various universities!
ReplyDeleteThe boy seems to have "GOOD SENSE." (if it were "common" everyone would have it.) I think he may have some of his parents creativity with a strong dose of pragmatism.
